We’ve just updated our camping equipment to accomodate our two kids (baby and toddler). We’re off to cumbria for some camping fun. This summer we’ve also camped in Wales at shell island.
I prefer sites that don’t let caravans on and let you have a good fire (rule: no fire = no camp). If anyone wants to share knowledge of such sites in N Wales/ Cumbria giz a shout.
Best places I’ve camped are:
Queensland – from Brisbane up to cape Tribulation. (Yungela national park was a highlight – but then again the whole trip was boss!)
Wales – Shell island (avoid the masses search hard for that secluded spot)
Wales – Capel curig (they’ve stuck their prices up but still well worth a visit)
Cumbria – Langdales, Duddon Valley, the list is long….
