Need to pay my bills on time, first. I’m so bad when it comes to money…..

Larry’s our Financial Planner… We have been following his plan for debt reduction, retirement planning, and investments for just over a year. So far, our money-market acct has earned a few hundred dollars- not much, but hey, we didn’t lose any…Our IRAs have also earned a wee bit as well… My credit card debt is down significantly and will be paid off in December! ...Found out that those blasted student loans don’t affect our debt to income ratio (woo-hoo!)... He also schooled us on leasing automobiles. Unfortunately, hubby’s Escalade dream was shot down after we learned about “residual value”; the Volvo has a pretty high residual (woo-hoo!)... We’re on an aggressive savings plan for the baby-to-be and should have about 5K when he/she is born…I feel pretty good about our financial situation right now. Once I start working, it will get better & we’ll be able to get those Pergo floors & other home additions that should increase the market value of our home…
