The Quran is not supposed to be read in a straightforward manner, like any other book, and has special rules governing recitation (tajweed). The Prophet (peace be upon him) encouraged Muslims to recite the Quran with a nice rhythm. The Prophet (peace be upon him) has also pointed out that the good voice is a blessing from Allah.
I can read the Quran in a correct way, that let the listeners understand the meanings correctly. However I’m currently practicing the recitation rules with some of my friends so that I can recite the Quran perfectly (= exactly like the prophet Muhammad did).
