16th time October 08
Was out at Ocean beach with Dom. Mostly just paddled around inside, looking for waves.

17th time January 09
Went out with Dom and a couple friends for Dom’s birthday. Linda mar with some waist-shoulder high waves. COLD!

Went to Ocean Beach for the first time with Dom. Nice clean waves breaking outside. Was paddling around for about 2 hours

Went out with my sis on Sunday. Very crowded, and there were some good waves. Caught one good one.

Was out at Linda Mar couple weekends ago. A bit crowded and there were waves, but were hard to catch. Didn’t stand up on any unfortunately. Water was COLD. Need some gloves next time.

Waves were a little bigger when I went out Friday last week. The lineup was shifting a lot, to the inside then back outside. I didn’t have too much success, and ended up doing more bodysurfing than surfing. Bruised my head a bit.

Went out before work on Wed. last week for a little session. Pretty fun time, the waves were good but inconsistent. I managed to catch a couple into the beach, but mostly was drifting south down the beach in the lineup. Need to work on my popup as I am not getting my back leg to full standing position.

Nice monday morning session at Linda Mar. Got a couple nice glassy faces on my new board. Met a couple peeps out on the lineup. All in all a great day!

Got out early on Tuesday morning for a dawn patrol session at Linda Mar. Pretty flat with occasionaly knee to wait high waves. But such a nice sunny morning! Very few people in the water. A couple of longboarders, and some people at the north end of the beach. I need to work on matching my speed to the wave.

Bought my first board from Wise in SF today. Got a New Surf Project 7’ 10” funboard, tri fin. It was used so cost $100 less than new. Took it out to Linda Mar in chest to 2’ overhead. was having fun and caught some waves into the beach.

Last Sunday I took B out for her 2nd time. I was able to get up on several waves in the morning. The afternoon set was bigger and more closed out and we got a little tired. Saw a couple dolphins playing just outside. The walk back to log shop made our feet hurt for a week.
