So, I heard this was a fabulous book and a great tool to help one quit smoking. I picked it up from the library and will read it and see what it has to say. I hope it’s what I need.
I hate this habit so much. I was quit for 2 years and it was the worst and best time in my life. I was going through some bad times but I was able to resist the urge to light up “just one”. Unfortunately, last summer, I had a bad day at work (one of many) and someone at a party offered me a hit off their cigarette. I took it, and it felt awesome. Two days later, I bummed an entire cigarette. It went from there. I’ve been a full-time smoker since.
I need to be free of this. I feel there is no room for this in my life and it’s actually ruining my motivation and my way of dealing with stress from school, etc. I was a much more capable person when I wasn’t smoking, no doubt.
My quit date is 1/11/09.
