My sister just recommended an alarm clock to me that is fairly cheap and starts ringing softly gradually getting louder until you cannot ignore it. Place that baby across the room and supposedly it should do the trick. Here’s hoping!

This guy’s whole site has great advice on other goals people in here might have. It all seems to go hand-in-hand. We all want to make better use of our time. From what I’ve read of his stuff so far, I think he knows what he’s talking about and it’s worth a try.
The crappy job is making this harder. I still want to accomplish this goal though. If I get up earlier on a work day, I can do enjoyable things before subjecting myself to that awful place. Might even improve my defenses.
Getting better at this. I’m finding reasons for jumping out of bed in the morning. I’m excited about the things I want to accomplish each day! I’ve made goals I like! The sooner I start, the more I can accomplish! Plus, being a morning person is good for the mood. Really!
This was much easier when I had a crappy mattress that hurt my back. I couldn’t wait to get out of bed in the morning in order to end the torment. Now I’ve got a wonderful new bed that keeps me coming back and wanting to stay in forever. sigh Fortunately, it’s there when I come back in the evening, so if I just remember this I might be able to detach from it a little more.
