Visit Maine

Hated to leave but we had to come back to work to pay for all that we have done and seen! With a total of 6 of us in our rented Chrysler Town and Country minivan crammed with luggage and trying to see how much of a low-rider we could make of it we made our way through the coastal areas of Maine and a trip down into Mass to check out Gloucester, Boston, Plymouth, Falmouth and Woods Hole. We did our part to help control the local crustacean population and think we did our part to help support the local dairy business by accompanying them with butter! Lots of fun, highly recommend visiting Maine though it was a little warm humid for those of us from Alaska with temps in the mid 80’s and jumping occasionally into the 90’s.

Just about 20 days left before we board the plane for Boston and drive up to Maine. We’ve been planning this trip for a year and a half with our friends who I’ve known since high school which takes me back about 25 years. We’ve had our tickets since October! We have a cottage on a pond rented and my wife’s family to visit (my wife is from Maine) and am looking forward to going to the Lobster Festival in Rockland. Mmmmmmmm Lobster!Should be good fun, “Wicked good fun” as the locals say it! God I need this vacation! It will keep me away from work for about 3 weeks!
