I can play the intro to South of Heaven, The intro to Iron Man (Not that crappy 0-3-3-5-5 tune), the intro to Smoke on the Water (Again not that crappy 0-3-5 tune, even though the song sucks), the intro to Gasoline, the intro to Cochise, I can play maybe 2-3 minutes of Dance of Death, The intro to The Trooper, & some more.
I’m currently learning the rhythm part for “Sailing to Philidelphia” by Mark Knopfler for my guitar class’ quarter 3 project.
Well since my last entry I have been able to master the intro (Yes intro, the whole song is hard to play) of South of Heaven by Slayer, most of Gasoline by Audioslave, the intro to crazy train, maybe 1/6th of Dance of Death by Iron Maiden, and bout 5 chords.
I’m in this beginning guitar class at school, even though I’m not a beginniner per se.
I got my electric guitar a couple weeks ago, and i’m getting good at it. I can play gasoline on it (Most of it, I can play all of it on bass) And the intro solo in crazy train.
The guitar i have is on the right (Behringer V-Tone II)
Well i’m using my sisters acoustic guitar (A rogue dreadnought, i tried to tune it but i’m not sure) until i can get a starter electric
I can play some parts of Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and Deep Purple (Guess which song :P)
Oh and some Stairway to heaven. Long way to go though….
