Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

Breakfast At Tiffany's

I bought this movie on DVD && I really enjoyed it. When I first got it, I watched it about 4 or 5 times in 2 days. Audry Hepburn is an awesome actress, && I wouldn’t mind watching more of her movies. George Peppard was also a good actor in this movie.

Petticoat Larceny

I watched this movie this morning on TCM. It’s a 1943 movie starring Joan Carroll. It was easy to follow… and didn’t make me want to go t sleep! That’s alwasy a plus with older movies! && I actually wouldn’t mind watching it again sometime.

The Big Street

Today I woke up early and watched The Big Street. I love anything that has Lucille Ball in it, so you shouldn’t be suprised when I say that I loved it!
It’s a 1942 film with Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball staring in it. My favorite quote from the movie was when Gloria (Lucille Ball) said “Love is something that gets you 1 room, 2 chins, and 3 kids.”
I’m not too sure that I understood how it ended ….. but I really enjoyed it… I’d watch it again no doubt.

The Ghost & Mrs Muir

This was a good movie! If I were to have been Mrs Muir I would have NEVER stayed in that house with a ghost! You go girl.. it’s a sweet love story though!

The Producers

Watched “The Producers” tonight. It was funny… I really liked it.. eventually I am going to rent the newer version of it and see if it’s as good!

The Scarlet Letter

I watched this one last week… but it still counts. It wasnt that great… but I did enjoy it … probably might watch it agian sometime. 97 more to go!

The Adventures Of Mark Twain

Just got finished watching this, and it was a pretty good movie. I am sure that I will watch it again! —Wonder if it’s a true story hahah --

My Fair Lady

Watched ” My Fair Lady ” the other night… i’d saw it once before…. somewhere… to be an older movie.. I really enjoyed it. Actually, I am sure that I’ll eventually watch it again!

After I watch 100 movies that were made before ‘my’ time I’ll mark this goal done. —Wish me luck!! --
