read all of the books on my "must read" list

I’ve now started Melville’s classic and am really enjoying it thus far. I have to concentrate when I’m reading it because I find his writing to be quite dense; however, it’s also wonderfully entrancing and draws me into the story. I very much want to go to the beach to be near the ocean right now. :)

and, frankly, wasn’t really impressed. It’s not really my list but one I acquired when I was in college. Most of the books deserve to be there, but some I have no interest in reading. And isn’t life too short to read uninteresting literature? So, I’m going to compile my own list, consisting of classics, contemporaries, and graphic novels. I welcome any and all suggestions.
