Brush up on my French

Yesterday I went to a test class, and it was fine! lots of talking, a bit of grammar. And I did pretty well! (considering I haven’t talked any French in 7 years). I actually had lots of fun. So I joined the class :-)

I’m going to get serious on this one. I don’t know yet how (courses? books? podcasts?) but it’s happening. The problem I have right now is that I get very high scores in the classification tests for the courses because I know the language well and a little intuition makes the job. But in real life I don’t remember almost anything! maybe private lessons would help in this situation…

My mom’s a French teacher, and I knew quite a bit of French back in high school. Now I understand it and read it, but my speaking skills are very sad and I don’t think I could write a sentence on my own.
