I’ve moved to Holland since I first posted here too; and this has broken the ties (no pun intended, honest) I had with people who were interested in the UK. Im in Holland, and looking for someone to practise with. As yo u can see, I’ve covered some of the basics with what I have learned so far. I really enjoyed where it’s taken me so far, and would hate to loose the momentum now I’ve moved to Holland.

Finally.. I’d recommend rainbowrope. They had some trouble, but were clear and informative and passed on an unasked for discount, +extra for the inconvenience.

Well, I have most definitley started down the road, and have officially done some ties and been tied, so I’m going to take this one off my ‘to do’ and stick it on the ‘done’!

And I’m going! Had to wait for membership to the group to be approved, and didn’t know if it would come in time to attend the workshop (being a member isn’t mandatory, but now at least I can introduce myself to those going through the yahoo group and not feel a complete loner when I turn up)

If I can, I shall post some pics here. They have a strict photopolicy though, so perhaps only picture’s of myself.

I’m intending to be a top, but want to explore how it feels for the bottom, to understand what I am giving them when I top, so I shall be getting bound up at least once or twice!

Ok, my previous post probably isn’t the best way to go about finding people to work with, but that don’t matter;

I’ve found there is a great group in the UK that hold peer workshops, where newcomers are welcomed.

They hold workshops the third sunday of every third month. The first I can get to will be this sunday, April 15th! ..

I’ve been fascinated by this for ages. I’ve bought rope, and read about it a lot. As someone else down the page say’s though, there’s only sso much you can do alone.

I need to find a teacher &/or a willing participant upon which to learn.
