So, I moved back to SoCal and got my job back at my previous employer. Guess what? The store closed down after a month I was working there! Now I’m determined to be self employed. I’m sooo sick of retail. I WILL be a jewelry designer no matter what it takes.

I don’t know how long we expect to stay here in Lubbock, so I have a plan if we stay here longer than expected. I’m actually getting in shape and started a resistance training routine for myself this week. I plan to drop about 25-30 lbs by May and gain lean muscle. If I can accomplish this goal, I want to become a personal trainer. The way I see it is if I can train myself then I can train anybody. I really can’t stand my job now and this gives me an incentive to look forward to in a few months.
i applied for three positions in austin the other day online. i have to follow up which tends to be my weak area. i just have to keep thinking that if i follow up i have a better chance for an interview, that leads to a better job, and i can move away from lubbock!
