let everyone know how cool Sonny Purdue is.

So about a month and a half ago, I met this gentleman at my work. We were chit-chatting about random things, joking around about the southern slang and teaching me new slang since I’m not southern. He was listening to me talk about my life story just cuz I like to talk about me sometimes. Since I knew he just flew in from Georgia, I was asking if that was where he was from. “Born and bred” he said. When he was leaving, his pilot asked me if I knew who I was talking to. I sure didn’t. Little did I know he was the Governor of Georgia! My lesson learned is that politicians are human too. Not all are stuffy and dry nor are all Republicans evil. He was happy, kind, had a wonderful sense of humor, and most important, genuine. I wish he was the governor of my state.
