One thing that I didn't realize before I "really" started exercising 13 months ago

I always thought that I’d exercised enough to become a bit sweaty and feel like I’ve accomplished something, but what I realize now that I “really” exercise is that my exercise clothes become absolutely soaked, to the point that I have to change them/take a shower straight away.

I thought that I was exercising in the past, but now there is no doubt. I now have to constantly do laundry because I use up so much workout clothing. I never really understood this concept. I had no idea that I was not realllly working out.

Why couldn’t I figure that out earlier? I was doing softcore porn….kinda watching and thinking that it was pretty good:o) Sorry for being so graphic.

Now people are asking ME for dieting advice. I am shocked. I tell them that something called diet and exercise really works.

Just 8 months ago a man at work asked me what kind of shape I’m in, and then proceeded to say “well, round is a shape.” He now calls me “slim.” I’m still shocked.



Still going strong 13 months ago

Lost about 23 lbs now (almost 11kgs). Verrry little left to lose. I know it’s a lifetime goal though, and I plan on staying strong. It feels too good!!



I am working on it! 16 months ago

So far I’ve lost 17 lbs (around 7 kilos)!! Yippee! I am out the door every weekday before 5am and work out at the gym for almost an hour. On weekends I jog in the beach-park and play tennis. I love the way I feel now. I feel motivated and stronger than I’ve ever felt. Took me too many wasted years of denial and procrastination to get to this point, but I’m glad that I’m here.
