I still need to lose 20 pounds, but my goal right now is to get below 200. My dad and I are challenging ourselves to lose 5 pounds by the 30th of May. Totally do-able, no? Yes, if I get my arse up and exercise. I am teetering around 215, so if I get below 200…and focus on losing 5 pounds a month at the bare minimum, I will be able to get this off of the list in no time. Well, in about 4 months. I guess that is some time. :D

I am back up to 212. Wowza! I think when I put this in as a goal, I was at 220 and I wanted to get below 200. So I am still at the half way point in theory.
I don’t know so much about my weight, but I know that I am seeing a difference. Clothes fit differently, not as tight . . . all of that jazz.

I was at 206. I went shopping today and a 14W is looking and fitting well. So . . . all in all, those pounds are leaving slowly, but certainly. This is very encouraging seeing that I have not exercised for probably a month now. I will get back on it maybe tomorrow, but Monday for sure.
I am also considering joining a gym or fitness center. I will see. I have been doing a lot with my money recently, so I have to see if it is truly feasible for me right now. Otherwise the free gym @ work will have to suffice. I just might have to fight for a machine, that’s all.
oh my goodness . . . how frustrating. I know that I have to change my workout, or amp it up to kick these last 10 off. I have been at 210 for a while. But at least it is not going beyond 210. So, I am going to check out this beginners training for women. The focus is on running. Since I bowed out of the half marathon for this year, (did not train, and just really, really not prepared) I figure I will train with this group of OFFICIAL beginners and try to register for a few local smaller events, 5ks and the sort and keep it up and have a solid basis for getting ready for the half in 2009.
I also am considering getting a personal trainer next month. Get a new workout, some new exercises that I can incorporate into my existing workout and kind of work from there. . . I am not giving up, I just know that I need to tweak things a bit. I have to push more . . .when that is the hardest thing for me to do most of the time.
the usual number. So, it is what it is. I need to switch it up. I am considering getting a personal trainer to help me out. A girl from my job says that her cousin is a personal trainer and he will travel to me. There is also some sort of fitness club very near my home. Again . . . I will see….
I am stuck in that rut where I am not consistent enough to really rid myself of the last 10 pounds. At the lowest I get to 206/208, but then I weigh in again and I am at 210. Either way, I am feeling good. I have a couple of weeks to change up my workout regiment. I think that may be the ticket.
exercised last week and it read 208 . . . went to the dr on monday she said 206. i can dig it. my cousin’s wedding is on the 8th so if i want to meet my real goal to be less than 200 by her wedding date . .. i am not too far off. otherwise, i am ahead of the game if i need to push the goal to losing the 20 by the end of the year. all in all, if i focus on what i am putting in my mouth and pump iron and get my exercise in, i should be fine.

Well I am surprised and happy to say that after not working out for about 2 months I am still not far from where I left off. I am at the 210 mark. With my cousin’s wedding on the 11th of December, I am nearing my real goal…to lose weight for the wedding, which morphed into being less than 200 pounds by the end of the year. November 1 I stuck to my guns and went to exercise with friends. I must say, exercising with them is not the most focused exercising experience, but I definitely get my sweat on. They are teetering and yapping . . . I say too much talking to little exerting exercise. So . . . I think it is feasible to lose 10 pounds in a month, or am I buggin’?
but people say that i look like i have lost some weight. i have not exercised in more than a month, so who knows. my cousin’s wedding is in december, and i wanted to be at or below the 200 pound mark by then. i need to go and weigh myself so that i can see where i stand. depending on the number . . .well, that number in general will probably give me the motivation i need to get my behind back into gear.
