travel

So my family is considering taking a cruise. I would love to! I want to hit different ports like PR, Haiti, Grenada…but we will see. Of course I cannot do any of this without a passport. So that “thing” may be moved off of the list if we get this trip going.

I will surely be happy to strike something off of the list.

I had the chance to go to Hawaii…no $$. I have a chance to go to New Orleans, LA (I have been before so I don’t want to include it, but I guess I can since it would be travel and it has been soooo long.) I just have to get airfare. I think I should be able to handle that…no? Well, with my credit cards maxxed out…not so much. Hence that is also on the list.

It is all so intertwined…but I need to pull out my tweezers and separate them and attack.

I am ready. Let’s go!

So I am planning a family cruise for 2009. Looking to take a Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean. The dates for July & Aug are not out yet, so I have to follow up in April. But at least I know that for sure.

Also, my boyfriend and I are taking a trip this year. I would like us to go to Dominican Republic. I figure he can go to the cigar factories and we can get a tour of a run distillery . . that could be cool. I mean there or Vegas baby!

a wonderful time. besides getting totally anxious on the many many ridiculous hills that are in this city, i really liked it. it is wonderful to see the views of mountains and water and the lights, and the bridges, wow. i would have no problem being within 15 minutes to a beach. fine you would not always be able to get in, but to even walk or jog by it…city living is fine, city living with a view, like a real natural view . . . that is what i am talking about.

williamsburg, virginia. my parents have a timeshare there. so that was cool. we were all there for 3 days. that was enough. the weather was nice, i exercised and relaxed by the pool, spoke to friends and sat and chatted w/ my mom & dad. all in all a good trip. next stop, SC for labor day weekend.

i have an offer to go to thailand in february. i pretty much just have to get there. i just don’t know where the money is going to come from. plus i am trying to get back into school so i don’t know if this trip will fit in with my schedule nor my funds. we will see. oh, that means i need to spend more funds to get my passport right? oh that is right it is on the list . . . along w/ stop procrastinating . .. . oh yeah, right . . that.

When? I don’t know. But it will be before the end of the year. My best friend lives out there and I need to go and visit her. I was on the left coast when I visited her in Los Angeles, now she is back in San Francisco. I figure that we can maybe drive up to Napa and do the wine thing . . . I know I want to go to Tres Agaves for margaritas baby . . . and ride through my deceased uncle’s neighborhood. Of course I have to get some Mexican while I am there . . and maybe check out a gallery or 2. So, I know what I want to do . . . now to pick a date. I hope 4 days is enough. maybe I will take a Thurs & Fri off from work . then I have Sat & Sun . . then Mon off from work to recoup.

Reads like a plan . . . let’s go!

well besides the fact that i go there at least once a year . .. i doubt it. i want to travel to places i have not been before. also the purpose of this trip is to go to a wedding. so that is not vacation either. i don’t think it will happen this year, but maybe next year i will be able to take a trip to somewhere new. i would love to do a cruise . . . we will see.
