Well, with my knees very angry with me and back on Weight Watchers with a vengence I have been getting my activity points in!
I have been moving my body! Yeah.
2.25 miles on Monday. 2 miles on Tuesday. Zumba on Wednesday. Walked home 2.65 miles on Thursday. Today…back to the gym for at least 2 miles again.
Plus w/ the job offering some free classes (Zumba, African dance, Salsa)...I am in a good space. And the Hubz has been doing some walking with me and encouraging us to walk too. So that helps!
Yay…being to being present and active vs. unfocused and inactive.
I am really really enamored with my jazzercise classes. I really really dig them. I am excited to go. I will get a zipcar, so that I can get myself to the class, go home to shower and then return the zip car and then go home…again, but for good this time. I go on average 3 times a week, but squeeze in 4 times a week sometimes too. I really really enjoy the classes. I have taken a class w/ most of the instructors at least once, and have found one that I think totally kicks a$$, but she tends to teach late, and by then, I really want to have exercised, showered and be in the process of winding down.
Yet again. .. Love it! I am gearing up to get myself back to jogging. I am toying w/ the idea of the half marathon again. I will see. With school taking up a lot of my time . .. I don’t know if I have the time to really devote to training like I should. I mean, the fact that I rearrange things around my exercise class . . . that is pretty ‘fetch’.

I got at least 3 times a week, sometimes 4 times. It totally kicks my behind. I sweat like a mad woman and I am seeing definition in my arms and thighs. Very cool indeed.
jazzercise! I know how corny, but for 35 bucks a month, unlimited visits . . . I can’t turn it down. They have step classes on Tues & Thurs, and have classes every day of the week.
figure between this and my run/jog plan w/ podrunner, I should be in good shape. Was doing boot camp for 3 weeks … kind of kicked up the exercise plan, as I had hoped, and now it is just being consistent and sticking to it.
Oh yea . . the hard parts!
a 1.76 miles in 30 minutes. Pretty good way to get back in the saddle again.
but I am going to do it anyhow. I have my exercise stuff @ work, but am going to exercise w/ my friend, and I could have easily said nope, can’t do it. Don’t have my bra, my shower shoes . . . but no, not going to use that as an excuse. Going to check out Lucy and a couple of fitness stores to see if I can find one and some shoes and off to the gym we will go. In fact she informed me that she needs to get shower shoes too. Look at that . . . confirmation that I am doing the right thing. Now I am really stuck . . . no excuses just results baby!
Was supposed to do the beginners training, but got there too late. Instead of doing my usual . .. oh well. Not exercising, I was a big girl today and still went out and mostly walked. I did that for about an hour. Yesterday I did 3.61 miles on the treadmill, again, mostly walking. Keeping moving . . . keeping moving.
so it is very easy to be more active. It is a walking town so right off the back I am more active. To add to this I have been in the gym for the past 3 days straight and I will be back at it again tomorrow. So all in all . . .active it is!
I had a pretty impressive exercise week last week. I exercised Monday to Thursday with the idea of exercising on Saturday . .. that did not quite happen. Then this week I was making time to spend w/ the boyfriend so I did not work out yet this week. I really should go out and do it right now. . . .but 43Things requires less energy.
Walked a mile . . . did free weights, lunges, squats . . . getting back in the saddle. Injured my knee earlier in the day so did not want to run, plus . . have not been active in like 3 weeks. Got to ease back into it.
