I will be having Lasik surgery on December 16th 2004. I am using Bellevue Lasik and Dr. Ken Leavitt who has the top reputation around Washington State. I have to say I am a little freaked out right now, I have been having dreams about it. But on the other hand I am excited and ready to have it done! The thought of swimming and surfing and being able to see, or waking up in the morning and being able to see, and saved space when I travel from not having to pack contacts, solution, glasses, etc. is very exciting.
I am currently in the pre-op phase where I can’t where contacts for two full weeks before the pre-op exam. I am remembering the pain-in-the-ass of glasses. Behind my ears is sore, if I look up I can’t see very well, running with glasses is hard, and I look like a bonified geek. But all for the greater experience of not having to wear them again! So in the end, I really shouldn’t be complaining.
I am having the newest technology done. Explained here , on Bellevue Lasik’s site.
