I have added a decent core routine to my cardio workouts, and I have started to feel the difference. If I give it another month, I will consider this goal complete, as I will have a good base to work with.

My friend has told me about a great gym that I am looking into joining. I have noticed that while running, one of my weakest spots is my core muscles. The longer the runs become, the worse that area feels after. So tomorrow morning I have my first class that deals with strengthening the core muscles, as well as involving some plyometrics. As she tells it, it is a class that solidly kicks your ass for a full hour. I will be doing these classes twice a week, as well as starting a light weight training program at the beginning of next month. I am excited to see what kind of difference this might make in my running.
