ugh. my coffee consumption went up again because even though I was weaning off with the kukicha (twig tea), was still drinking it first thing in morn and other occasional. WELL, the last time in store to buy more (coffee, instant) i see an organic one…of course I get it instead. omg. it doesn’t even taste instant. it’s so dark and rich and crapola!! I’m back to drinking 4 cups a day. whaah!

drinking twig tea. I think it tastes better than grain coffee, black and green teas.
now that I’m on vyvanse for my ADD I think I can really do it now. caffeine actually decreases blood flow to the brain in the long run and is worse for your thinking abilities.
coffee is actually good for your brain as long as you don’t overdo it. i think i’m going to make my goal be keeping consumption to 2 cups a day. there are a lot of toxins in coffee though so i’ll also buy organic whenever i can afford it.
i love my coffee. this is probably the hardest thing i’ve ever had to give up.
i do like the taste of grain coffee – but its not the same without the caffeine.
i like it. its good for me…
need to get over to the good earth and pick out a bunch more.
messes with my blood sugar. i LOVE my coffe, this is going to be difficult. and i’ve have really bad withdrawal when i try to quit in the past – migrainish symptoms. don’t know whether to plan to be sick a couple days and go cold turkey, or use instant to slowly cut back mixing it with with decaf. hubby prefers the latter, can’t say i blame him. the bad thing with that though is when i have tried it before, i’ll get way down on the caffeine and i’ll have a bad week and so increase it again ‘just for a couple days’ which just gets me back on it.
