Found some starter equipment... 2 months ago

... it’s not very fancy, but it’s under $100 and considering my technique in getting on and off of a horse… it’s probably a good match. It’s safe, and it fits both of the intended victims at our barn, so I’m excited!

Missed opportunity... 3 months ago

Jennifer invited me to ride Litvok, and I didn’t go. I’d really like to go see him as he used to be our race horse until his retirement… then we gave him to Jennifer, and she’s been teaching him about being a riding horse since then. I wouldn’t mind going with Jennifer, but her know-it-all cousin was going too, and then they wanted to take me to the place where they take lessons and introduce me to someone named Carlos… and I kind of wimped out. Well, no “kind of” about it, I officially wimped out. Next week, I need to just suck it up and go. I’ve been wanting to learn since I was a little girl, so I need to get over myself and just be okay with looking like a beginner for a while.
