The key to a good life is good health,... 15 months ago

As of tommrow i intend to start my day with 30 minutes dance and a vitamin drink before having a nice cup of tea and fruit or toast for breakfast!. This is so important to me now, as i’m putting on weight slightly.



20 minutes relaxing dance... 17 months ago

I’ve realised today that to nurture the body and the mind is so important to be able to do and deal with anything i need to on an interlectual level. I can’t neglect my inner self. So today i danced for 20 minutes and i feel so much better for it. I’m doing what my body is asking and i’m being rewarded with better health, despite feeling poorly today.



20 Minutes Success! 18 months ago

Horray i’ve danced for another 20 minutes! I feel fabulous. Sat here surrounded with candle light and ready to start work on my business. I feel relaxed and prepared as i can be to start making some phone calls. I love the total feeling of gratitude and the way the breathe fully oxygenates my system as i dance and how connected i am with all the elements of air ( breathe), water( 90% body fluid) fire, (energy within) and the earth, ( my physical body and the earth below) as i ground myself using dance. It’s a great tool for meditation, relaxation and general health.

Another 20 minutes done today! 19 months ago

Horray…Glad i’ve got this done. I realised that if i cut down speaking to my friend, i can have my dancing, my pots clean, my rabbits sorted and have made some calls. It’s important i make my own priorities first for myself. Dance is a huge priority for me as it releases stress and prepares you for the day ahead letting you handle anything that comes up. I love my alone time now also. That’s 44 minutes this week! Much an improvement on the last one :) I still feel abit tired, but soon i’ll be doing 44 minutes as 20 will be too easy. I love getting fit. It’s a great feeling to connect with god also.



20 minutes of Dance... 19 months ago

I recognise the difference it makes when i’ve not danced in ages. It’s so lovely to dance, you can feel all the places in your body which need attention as you focus on yourself and the breathe. Yoga dance is great, because it’s meditative. I can’t recommend it enough. Again with sarina connell’s water dance i did get 20 minutes of expression through dance today. I realized the stress in myself that i wasn’t aware of before i danced and noticed how it disapated and my view on time became more godly, graceful and thankful for what i have rather than rushing to get things done. Live as you want to be. What a lovely morning wakeup. Now for a shower! I would say that the dance is more refreshing. I had my morning tea rather than eating breakfast first. I can see how i can quite happily get into a nice routine doing this. Spending 30 minutes having a tea and browsing the net in the morning, then 20 mins dance and 1 hour in the shower. My mornings are going to be longer, but i’ll enjoy them more if i put myself first as i used too.



Dancing today and yesterday... 19 months ago

Last night i went out with my boyfriend and his brother and some friends. Two of us decided to go dancing in the local club. I love dancing as a social activity. It’s great to interact with people and know them on a nature level. I loved the rave i went to last weekend, dancing with my boyfriend was so amazingly uplifting and spiritual. I’m teaching him to dance. He can dance a little, but at the level of his stomach he gets stuck, it’s where his emotions are stored so i understand this, dance is about letting go and letting go of emotions is a difficult thing sometimes. I love expressing myself and dance is an outlet for this for me.

Last night i danced to some hard house and funky house, not really my thing, but moving the body is great in every respect. Today i danced a little around my living room, rather than make this a chore i’m just going to record when i do dance and try bring more of it into my life, when i consider dancing for a few moments as i often do around the house when noones around, i get caught up in it and dance for a little longer and sometimes i just take so long to stop, it’s not forced, i’m really enjoying myself being free spiritually, physically and emotionally. This is real joy to me.



Can't even get off the sofa at present! 19 months ago

Need some motivation. I think i’m going to start listening to motivational speakers again. I’m surrounded with negativity in my life at the moment as i’m going through a rough time. I intend to exercise as a way to disipate some of the pain i’m going through. Dancing is the best solution i’ve found, but i’m so not in the mood for that tonight.
