An important aspect of my life... 2 years ago

Contribution is very important to me. I’m so lucky to have all the things in my life that i do and i like to give back even if it’s only in a small way. I sponser a little girl called emily each month. I don’t get much time to write to her, but each month £18.00 goes out on direct debit to her without fail. This is automatically taken out of my bank account as soon as i get paid. I’ve been doing this over a year now and i’m very proud of myself that i have kept this up. I feel good that i can play a small part in helping humanity even if it isn’t directly.

I've setup the donation by Direct Debit 3 years ago

It’s only £2.00 a month to cancer research, but hey it’s better than nothing! Also i think that any contribution is significant when you add it up! I’m going to add more donations next month to society’s like the ms society as my mum has this. I will also donate to the BHF again as my grandad has heart disease and to charities in africa and the NSPCC as i used to do this, and i get so touched when those adverts come on, i can’t help but think about how much people suffer in this world when there is no need! I’m so lucky to have what i have in my life.

Pay Day tommorow -Setup Donation" 3 years ago

Tommorow is pay day! I’m broke, my grandma says that you shouldn’t donate until you have money, but that’s far from the truth. Life is about giving, no matter how little you have, you will always have more than someone else in the world and someone will always have more than you. If you compare yourself to others you may become vain and bitter says desiderata. I agree with this and it’s my believe that like many other successful people you should donate 10% of your income to charity, 10% to your debts and save and invest 10% then spend the rest! Donating and giving makes me feel amazing! It’s worth the money :)

Causes like cancer research, animal protection, bhf, third world charities etc are so important and worthwhile!

I will be starting a donation up again soon 3 years ago

I used to donate recently to the BHF, NSPCC,RSPCA and Cancer Research, however the bank gave me a riducuous £70 charge one day when my wages hadn’t cleared and the donation had been taken out early, so i stopped them until i could get my finances sorted out. I believe donating is important for your soul. It brings value to your life and others and makes you feel like you are contributing. It doesn’t have to be much, but it’s worth it definately!
