-that almost all my family came to church yesterday
-that Sophie and her cousins played well together
-that we got a start on Christmas decorations
-that I got some on-line shopping done and the house straightened up
-for yummy thin-crust pizza!

-for a lovely dinner at a nice local restaurant…free!

-for the age and wisdom and love of my father and mother, for knowing them so well, yet not knowing them at all. They are my inspiration
I really wanted to make sure I posted to this goal today because yesterday was a yucky, rainy day and a really dysfunctional evening… But it’s all good now!
I’m grateful
-for the lazy morning at home yesterday with the parade on tv while I made pies
-for Thanksgiving dinner with family members with whom we haven’t celebrated for a while
-that my family enjoys doing the same thing on holidays: playing silly games
-that my husband wanted to watch the same movie I did last night and share popcorn with me
-that today we don’t have to do anything if we don’t want to…
-that the week of Japanese language training is over!
-that I am back on 43t. I missed it last week
-that we don’t have to go anywhere tonight…if we don’t want to
-to spend the day with Will. I missed him during the days last week
-again, that I am a stay-at-home-mom. It is very important to me.
-our class was only 4 hours yesterday because I was exhausted just from that
-the vocabulary, at least, was a lot of review for me
-Will seemed to get along alright at the babysitter’s
-Sophie was ok getting off the bus at that strange place
-none of us was excessively grouchy after this long day and this monkey wrench in our usual schedule
-I managed to cook a decent dinner and sit down to eat it with my family
-I then managed to make it to my sister’s for her short gathering and to the meeting that was scheduled at the same time
-I slept more than the 4 hours I slept the night before!
-this class only lasts one week and there is one day down!
-that it is a warm, sunshiney fall day!
-that there is cocktail hour tonight ;)
-that it appears our schedule for next work worked out anyway
-for the health of my family
-for my husband who did listen to me last night after all
-a daughter who behaves in school and is doing very well despite her young age and the doubts of other, educators who will remain unnamed :/
-having only 1 child at home
-being able to be helpful to friends and family
-my small town and the huge voter turnout when we were at the polls!
-dinner out!
-leftover turkey
-cheese
-children who willingly and happily go to bed with kisses and snuggles
-my husband and the understanding and love in which we still seem to be growing
-my family and the traditions and important celebrations that we share
-for quiet sunshiny afternoons
-for my church family and working together
-for delicious turkey and pie
-for the joy and reward of hard work
-for quiet time
-my beautiful, fun, funny children, full of their own personalities and ideas…
-my parents who love my children and all their grandchildren
-the time I made for, and love to spend with, my husband that keeps us close
-leftover chicken and noodles for dinner…mmm…
-someone to rub my feet after dance class!
