I moved everything out of the closet and on to the bed. One by one I put things back. All little jackets/blazers went in the coat closet. All pants and skirts went on pant clip hangers. I tossed a bunch of button down shirts that I haven’t worn in years (stains, shrunk, missing buttons, etc)
Moved most of my handbags to the handbag file hanging on the back of my bedroom door. The larger handbags I lined up on my side of the bed against the wall.
I used the shelves in the closet for my shoes.
My closet looks great! And I can see everything, especially with the blazers in the coat closet.

There’s a sample sale in my office tomorrow. My goal for tonight is to clear out some space for whatever I buy tomorrow. :)

this goal would be easier if I just STOPPED SHOPPING. :)
I work in the fashion industry though and there’s a sample sale somewhere within my company every day. Suede bomber jackets for $10!! How can I not buy one? Or two?
My husband just smiles and shakes his head. Some stuff has now made their way into the hallway coat closet. All blazers and cute little jackets, so technically they’re where they belong. Right?

The handbag file totally works. It holds about 14 bags and it hangs on the back of my bedroom door. The new pant hangers freed up room also, since my pants are now hanging straight instead of folded over. And in re-hanging pants, I found two pairs I’ve never worn! And they fit!
My shoes are still a massive problem. Need one of those small shoe racks to fit on the closet floor. Or maybe those clear shoe boxes.

I went online to the container store and grabbed a whole bunch of things: hangers, mesh laundry bags, handbag file. I think the handbag file will make a huge difference, right now I have 20 bags stuffed and scattered throughout the closet. I can never find the one I want.
