My daughter is trained during the daytime, goes by herself, and only needs help with certain clothing most of the time. We’re still using pull-ups at night for now, but most mornings she is dry, so those will go away soon. Yay!

Last week we’re at Target, and DD sees a princess set in the $1 Spot that she loves. She asks… begs… to have it. Fine, I say, I’ll buy it, but you can’t play with it until you stay dry for an entire day. She agrees.
The next two days she was completely dry. DH and I go back to the $1 Spot, pick up several more $1 toy bribes, and now have a stockpile sitting here waiting for her dry days. Yesterday she only had one accident, and so far today she’s been dry all day.
So… I never thought we’d go the bribery route, but, at this point I’ll do whatever works. We figured we’d do a week or so of a prize a day, and then move on to bigger prizes for every three days, then a week, etc.
My daughter hasn’t had a bowel movement in her pull-ups in more than a month now, but she still has wet pull-ups all day long. She will go running through the house and take herself potty to have a bowel movement, but, she will sit in wet pull-ups (or panties, we’ve tried that too) and not care at all. ::sigh:: I guess I should just be happy that I no longer have to change her dirty diapers.
Yesterday we were gone all day- to my sister’s house, a bridal shower, back to my sister’s, then the hour and a half drive back home. The ENTIRE day, my daughter stayed dry, went on the potty every time I asked her, and had no problems. Today? Well, it’s a different story at home… she’s gone a couple of times in her pull-ups already, despite being offered the potty. Uuuuggghhhh!
