go on a cruise

My Mom went to Italy this past summer. She loved it. She loved it so much- she’s convinced we all need to go now!
So, our family has started a vacation savings account with a popular tour company. Every month- we contribute at least $20. By the summer of 2011 or the spring of 2012- we will have enough for my husband, daughter, my mom, and myself to take the european cruise of our dreams (airfare included)!!
My husband is first generation American- with his ancestors coming from Italy. Our trip begins in Bari/Sannicandro Italy- which is where his family immigrated from!
Part of the cruise goes to Greece- where I traveled when I was 17 on a spring break high school trip. I loved it. We even named our daughter Athena (the Greek Goddess of Wisdom).
It will be fantastic! We are excited already- even though it doesn’t seem real!

Growing up in Alaska- I saw so many impressive cruise ships every summer and always longed to go on one myself. It sounds like so much fun and very relaxing while seeing multiple places on one vacation.
