Just got a Spanish book because taking classes aren’t an option for me. I’m using this book from the 60s called Madrigal’s Magic Guide to Spanish. It’s awesome! It’s illustrated by Andy Warhol and the lessons really make sense to me. Some of the phrases are out of date, but I would definitely recommend it.

I’m not very talented at learning languages, but I’ve been using this as an excuse for far too long. I went to Peru a few years ago and managed to get by with only a few phrases. I see another trip to South America in the next few years and I want to do more than just get by with my terrible Spanish.
