It’s been higher, but with the changes in the company I’ve been keeping, I seem to be losing weight again without even trying. No more desserts with whipped cream every night or finding candy bar stashes around the house. A lot less bacon, sausage and red meat. I’m giving up on this for awhile, until I stop losing naturally. Then we’ll see where things stand, and whether I need to diet at all. Meanwhile, I’ll just keep on with plenty of fruits and veggies.

I was reluctant to post this at first, 2 years ago

thinking it was just a passing post-flu weight loss. But I’ve held pretty steady now for over a week at 25.4 (WOOT WOOT)
Once the weather warms up a bit I plan to hike the rest of it off.

26.4 2 years ago

I’m still overweight. But 2/3 of women my age and height are more overweight than me. That consoles me not at all, just magnifies my concerns about our collective health. I guess the figure is for the US. I don’t think 2/3 of all the women my age all over the world could be overweight. It’s just not possible…is it?

Slipping slightly. Comments to Ooty made me think about stress & eating – also colder weather eating habits. Craved a lot of salty, cheesy things for the past week or so – I won’t torture everyone by listing my indulgences – but now craving more spicy, soupy things.

Starting point 2 years ago

Let’s say I started at 27.5 a few weeks ago.
Today I’m happy to report it’s 27.

I’m giving myself 2 months to reach 25.

And the rest of the year to reach 22.5. I’m not sure if this is realistic. I may not be a 22.5 type.
