Crosby, Stills, Nash (and sometimes Young)

Suite Judy Blue Eyes
One of the prettiest songs I’d ever heard, and then, in 7th grade, Ralph Cossey recruited us to be in his band. Gene and me doing the backup vocals. First band rehearsals…striving to keep focus.
Just heard it again, watching Woodstock. Sublime, with a structure reminiscent of classical raga music, with guitar work that borrows sitar technique, and the loveliest of vocal harmonies. Impossible not to want to sing along.
