making short films isn’t all that hard. As long as you have equipment, location and actors. This is easier because most of it can be shot in 1 day. Once you plan on making a feature time in fact does equal money.
Anyhow, Me and my friend are about half way through our script.
We have it all mapped out, it’s just a matter of getting it finished. Assuming that it’ll be done within a month, then we get to look forward to finding some possible sponsors.
In the mean time we will make short films like this one here and there

I talked with a couple friend/collaborators last night about movie ideas and one really hit a chord. So, the basic idea is in place, a plot of sorts in place, now we simply need to write a story. This will be taking place over the next couple months.

The biggest thing for a movie is budget. And generally, on a small budget film, the bulk of the budget goes towards equipment.
So, I’m one step ahead on that one. I’ve already got equipment. I could use more. But what I’ve got can get the job done as long as I don’t plan to do a crazy action flick.
Now I’m face to face with the tricky part. Writing a script that’s going to be worth while to make. so… for the next couple months I’m going to be tossing ideas around and writing what will hopefully turn into a first draft of a script. I’m planning on trying to start shooting next summer.
