I made Mom smile…
At least just for a little while…
Wanna do it more often.
Today I cleaned & loaded 1/4 of the dishes into the dishwasher (though I feared a possible relapse of backache). My Dad was happy. Kinda felt good.. (although I’m still cross at him..)
I will try to do things daily, push my limits.. (cause sometimes I’m just afraid of pain that is nonexistant – if that makes sense?)
It’s easy to be super-nice to strangers, I wanna start working again on being nice to my family too..
I was sweet to my sister yesterday & today, goofed around a bit… (didn’t let her the sole use of internet though, my random acts of kindeness don’t go that far! a Neopets addiction is bad for her, anyway!!)
She was sweet to me too (surprisingly..) before the internet debate, that is!! lol
Not much other to report… I did chat with three very lovely elderly ladies though, on my walk – they were so much fun!!
I let some people go in front of me at the shop the other day, didn’t run in front of them to the new cashier, which I could – they seemed kinda surprised, but thought nothing much of it, lol! I did say to myself, I have time to wait in the queue! & smiled ;)
At the Uni, I helped a guy from Hungary hitchhike into the right direction (after he had been hitchhiking for 5 hours at a wrong place where he could only go back to Hungary!;) – & had him sleep over at the dorm as it was getting dark!
(Flatmates gave him food etc. & he left us extra rice! His backpack was too heavy!)
I used to give my seat to the elderly on public transportation, unless when I was exhausted & carrying a heavy bag. (In that case I figured I’d be less danger sitting than standing)
I let a lady go before me in a shop earlier on this year. She was on a lunch break & soo happy!!
She almost didn’t believe a thing like that was possible & gave me a most amazing smile!
Later on I saw a Mom & her kid, just prancing down the street, smiling… & I thought, how little we need for happiness!!
I want to start doing this again.
