buy dog waste composting bin 20 months ago

Another excellent goal if I ever get a dog: buy dog waste composting bin (I didn’t know they exist??!!)
http://www.43things.com/people/progress/vantoth/9967241

Hmm… see compostable bags (?) (are you sure they’re okay? better than regular ones, I guess.. – but depends on conditions they’re under too!!)http://www.ecoproducts.com/Home/home_biobags/home_index_biobags.htm “Unlike imitation polyethylene plastic bags that “degrade” into small pieces of plastic, BioBags completely biodegrade into rich compost.” (hmm..??)
http://www.cleanairgardening.com/dogpoopbag.html Yup, kinda what I thought.. won’t work if in a sealed waste dump…

http://www.gvrd.bc.ca/recycling-and-garbage/dog-waste.htm
“Compost it – Allocate a bin to this purpose only. The resulting compost can be used on flowers or shrubs. Or, if you go with a septic style composter, most of the composted feces will merge naturally into the surrounding soil.” Also other cool info on this here…

I’m intrigued by this too.. http://gadgets.boingboing.net/2007/09/05/doggie-dooley-turns.html Though not sure of the chemicals used.. or greenness of grass above…?

Poor worms! OoO http://www.cleanairgardening.com/petwastebin.html

Love this article! (with pics) http://www.plantea.com/dog-waste-compost.htm

Put your presents where your politics are started by the very inspiring & green Lou has landed !!

Another fascinating goal found there: Be absurdly classy. LOL

Consciously create my day 20 months ago

Morning Person? OoO 21 months ago

Yes, this is a very worthy goal!!

http://www.43things.com/things/view/14481/become-a-morning-person

I’m not sure I’m quite ready for it yet!!

See, there’s not much to do in early mornings / mornings around here, & it’s cold – and noisy!

So maybe I should come up with ‘interesting things to do in the morning’? (if the PC is off-limits, especially, or eyes are tired…)

Kinda Crazy but Totally Fun!! ;)) 21 months ago

Make a list of 43 things I know very little about, & then learn at least 3 things about each of them http://www.43things.com/people/progress/Muchiko/10085187

LOL It might be fun to have a list like that, yeah!! ;))

& totally unrelated, just posting the 43things proverb on this site:
“If you cannot be grateful for what you have received, then be thankful for what you have been spared.”
- Yiddish proverb

So true!! LOL
