Actually, it’s Day 26, but I haven’t taken today’s photo yet. But I find it’s easier and easier to remember to snap that pic each day. Some days, when there is nothing interesting to snap, I pick parts of my home or objects in it that I think are interesting. There’s also always something to snap in nature, so if I can’t think of anything, I just go to the front or back yard!

Actually, it’s already a habit, after only 7 days! I’ll be doing whatever I would normally do and suddenly it will pop into my mind. I’ll think “wouldn’t that make a great picture of the day?” and then I’ll whip out my tiny camera and take the shot. It really is an amazing way to see the world around you with different eyes.
When you are looking for them, you can find interesting pictures everywhere! I’ve posted two days on my photo blog already (today is #3) and I’m really enjoying this project. I plan to post each photo before the end of the day if I can, but when I don’t have access to my computer, I’ll post them as soon as I can. http://anitas-picture-a-day.blogspot.com/
I do have a camera phone but don’t really like the pictures that come from it. So for Christmas, I asked for one of those cute little digital cameras that can fit in your purse or pocket. Now I have one, with a great little zoom and a 512 memory card, so I can do this goal! I’ve never been able to commit to doing something every single day (apart from the normal gooming activities like bathing and brushing teeth, lol) so this will be a fun challenge for me. Good luck everyone!
PS: I’ve made a special photo blog for my pictures. You can see it here: http://anitas-picture-a-day.blogspot.com/
