It’s been a few weeks now that I’ve been meditating daily (sans the occasional weekend) and I think I’m all set. I once heard that it takes about 3 weeks to get yourself into a routine of doing something (and keeping up with it). I think I’ve done that with meditation so I should be able to keep meditating nightly for a long time.

Last time I put an entry for this I said the meditation wasn’t going so well. The next night… everything changed. Had a great week of meditation which really, really helped me to focus and work on some personal issues.
Trying to meditate daily has not been going so well for me. Some personal things going on right now have really kept me from being able to clear my mind at night. But the funny thing is that I know if I actually could clear my mind that the meditation would really help me work through the personal stuff. Catch-22 I guess.
I use to be great at sticking to my daily meditation routine but that was a few years ago. I’m starting to realize that it’s something that was really helpful to me in clearing my head and allowing me to look at life with a more positive outlook. So I’m going to go back to trying to do this and see if it can help in all areas of my life.
