There was a weak moment or two over the weekend (why else would it be called weak-end), but it’s Monday and I’m back at work…far from the fridge and far from the remaining Werther’s soft toffees.

Well, this week I watched someone I admire manage to eat less themselves. This was inspiring! A co-worker accidentally saw me typing my goals so the cat was out of the bag about my 7 lb. goal, and somehow THAT was also inscentive to stick to it (like she’d see if I was shinking a little/or not)! I’m taking a swimming class and spending an extra 1/2 hr. in the pool practicing to get better swim skills and also expend some more energy. I figure the swim skills will also help me maintain my desired goal weight year round.
Well, I’ve had this goal for about 10 years but I still haven’t put a true effort into it. I ask myself “why 7 lbs?” I cheer that I’ve maintained my “healthy” weight (132 on a 5’ 5” frame) for 10 years, that I exercise and eat pretty healthy, but still I come up with this weight loss goal. Is it actually dumb?
