I love to know what kinds of plants are arround. I like to know what medicnal value they have if any, or if they are poisonous. I also like to get the folklore backstory on them if they have one. I have some Wiccan herb books that tell you all kinds of things about plants. I like that some herbs have nicknames. I love all the superstision too.
What I like most is knowing that if push came to shove I could forage in the wilderness and not poison myself or anyone else. This is very trickey when it comes to wild mushrooms, so I have never eaten those.
