start a revolution

I have met too many uninformed people. Too many who don’t know about important issues. Not just about the war, but about poverty, pharmaceuticals, land use, taxes, government dealings, and the list just keeps going. I read too many periodicals that have nothing but fluff in them. I have to look hard to find any decent information regarding important issues.
I have to get the real news from “alternative media”! Not that alternative media is bad thing, quite the opposite, but what about the others who only use main stream media? They don’t even hear about some of the most important things that go on. Not everything that is important is popular and considered news worthy by the main stream press. I say lets take back the press. No more misinformation, no more slow news day crap stories!!
If NASA plans to launch a rocket full of plutonium into space I want to know! If the US cannot account for over a million tons of enriched uranium I want it on the front page!! If the US decided to award a contract allowing a foreign power full control and use of our only deep water military port in California I want to know before the deal is signed!!!
What happened to real news? Why is such important information swept aside so we can hear about Trigger punching some kid, or how Borat offends people? Who cares?!

Zing! From MSNBC. Calling the war what it is. Nice. This is a First step in a thought revolution about this war by our media. I wonder how long it will take FOX to use the term.

I know that we are on the edge of frightning times. Our freedom in America is being slowly eroded by the Partiot Acts. Soon we will olny be able to protest in “free speech” zones, which will be miles away from where a protest could be seen and heard by the powers that be. Soon more people will blindly be chanting theings like “I belive we need to give up liberty for freedom.” To many who read this, you will right away know that freedom and liberty are one and the same. This is called double speak and I have heard it out of the mouths of Londoners, and Americans alike.
I love America, I love our freedom, and I don’t want to give it up. I think we neeed to move away from this two party system, and have publicly funded election campaigns, so that any one can run for office. Not just the rich. I also think it is wrong for big corprations to sponcer a cantidate. I would like to see hard working, intellegent, Americans take back the government.
To some this may seem a lame revouoltion, but I assure you all that if it could be done we would see some positive change.
