I usually go to a hairdressers around the corner from where I live (not that I go very often ) and a cut and blow dry costs me £20. Today I tried a new one a little walk from my house. I had called and enquired about the cost and it was only £11!! Almost half the price! It is run by two middle-aged women rather than young girls who charge designer prices. I must say that the woman at this new shop did blow dry it in a way that makes me look like Elvis, but the cut is good!! I made another appointment there for June before I go on holiday, which might stop me from hacking at it myself (which people on here will know I do on a regular basis!) I think I am saving myself money by cutting my own hair but I do it all wrong and end up having to go to a hairdressers anyway!

I am going to be on a break from University for almost all of April and I don’t get my new grant until the start of the new term on April 27th so I intend to have a very frugal month! I need more exercise so I am going to go out waling alot, I am going to keep away from shops and only buy what is absolutely necessary food-wise, I am going to remind myself that I don’t need any more clothes no matter how much of a bargain they may seem, and I am going to do alot of creative writing at home on the days where the weather is poor.
This isn’t specifically a new thing but seeing my bank balance looking healthy will be very fulfilling!
