Teach a college course

I was appointed as an instructor at JHU and am teaching a class this spring. The students are sharp and keep me on my toes. It is a ton of work to put together a class (I am having to modify a class I taught about 8 years ago), basically I spend at least 10-12 hours outside the classroom each week. It will be easier next time and I hope they ask me to teach it again.

After inquiring at 4 local universities, I have been offered a class in the Spring of 2006 at Johns Hopkins. I’m thrilled, though it will be a lot of work! I’ll count this goal done once I get the contract later this summer.
