I’m not sure if I’m going to count this as couch surfing yet, since there is no real; couch involved. BUt I have dabbed a food in the community thing, which was a lot of fun.
Got a message from an American girl living in the Netherlands and wanting to learn to speak Dutch. We met in a nice coffeeshop (the one that serves coffee, not the other kind) and practiced some Dutch and had a nice conversation in English. It was a lot of fun meeting a complete stranger and having a chat. It reminds me of backpacking, where you meet so many nice people all the time. I really enjoyed doing this, and wilol see where it takes me.
I’m leaving the couchsurf goal on, because I want to continue doing this. But I doubt I will actually couchsurf myself (I am always on a fast paced holiday, which doesn’t really mix with courchsurfing I think) and while I’m sharing my apartment building I don’t feel I can host. Maybe later.
