play the piano

Yes, I have now moved on to be able to play 3 blind mice. I can play it with my right hand and am now trying to get the hang of playing the left hand as well. Man that’s tough! Playing 2 notes with right while just playing one with left is very counterintuitive.

I can now play London Bridge on the piano. Yeah, ok, it’s easy, not much to boast about, but it’s a start :).

Yes, finally, after a month of debating and mailing and whatever I finally received my EZ200. A bit of trouble with a amazon marketplace salespeople. But anyway, in the end it’s here and I won’t nag. Or it’s not really here yet, it’s at my parent’s place. Might go there this weekend to pick it up :).

I just bought myself an EZ200 from Yamaha. After long deliberating and much reading I picked it because it has a light system which helps you learn and it is touch sensative, so if you touch the key softly, the sound will match.

I’m very curious whether I will pick up on this piano / keyboard thing. I would like to be able to learn to play a few songs well.

Okay, so, this is slightly embarrasing. I wanted to get started on this, but I have a small appartment of 30m2 so a piano won’t really fit (I have trouble enough fitting in all my other junk at the moment). So I figured I could buy a keyboard instead. Now these can get quite expensive, and I’m not sure if I have any pianoing talent. So then I found this thing online for just 35 euro’s. So I order it, it arrives at my doorstep…. And it turns out to have cheerfully playing crocodiles on it.

So the first goal is now to buy a propper keyboard .
