Slow and steady.

When I started doing this, I figured “eh, this shouldn’t take too long.” I can do this at work, while talking to people on IM, while on the phone, etc.

Au contraire, my friends. This is going to take forever.

And I think that’s what’s good about it: I’ve committed to donating 1,000,000 grains. That’s 50,000 words. I didn’t commit to a time limit. If this takes me six months, that’s a-ok.

So this translates then to my other goals: it’s not that I don’t WANT to accomplish them right away, it’s just that some I CAN’T accomplish right away. And that’s alright. Even if something takes me a long time, at least I’m still working towards it, right? So I’m keeping this goal set at 1 million. And when it happens, it happens in its own time.

5500 to start out with…now back to work! ;)
