I'm starting to come back

I didn’t practice at all for months. In the past few weeks I have done the am yoga dvd about 5-6 times. I want to aim for doing it daily. I have a new space for yoga now, hopefully this will help to motivate me.



Trying to work up some motivation

I was lazy yesterday. Monday and Tuesday I walked and I think I did the AM yoga and balance ball stretch Monday night. Today is not looking great for yoga. I am over tired and stressing about all the stuff I need to get done. Plus I am changing shifts and days off at work this week so it’s getting a little crazy here. If I can get a few things I need to do around the house done plus take a nap I may try to squeeze the AM yoga in before work.



Update

I skipped Saturday, it was a little hectic, but sometimes my job can be very physical so I considered that my workout for the day. I did the AM Yoga and the Balance Ball stretch last night. I could really use it now but I don’t have enough time. I am going to attempt to do them tonight.



Time to get serious

I did the AM Yoga and the Balance Ball Stretch both last night before bed and this morning right when I woke up. It was a nice end to the day but I really NEED it in the morning.



Two weeks with nothing!

I am having a difficult time getting back on track. I did the AM Yoga and the Balance Ball strech today. Plus I took a little walk. I felt much better, I really need to keep this up. I was thinking I might aim for first thing in the morning and right before bed, that way hopefully I’ll hit one or the other. If I manage to do both times I’ll consider that a bonus.



I've been bad!

So it looks like it’s been about 3 weeks since I did any yoga. I went on vacation and I am still playing catch up from that. Unfortunatly when I am busy exercise is the first thing to be cut. I have to do better about making time for yoga. Today I did the AM Yoga and the Balance Ball stretch. Hopefully I’ll be practicing more frequently.

I've been bad!

Last Friday I had a friend over all day to help me paint, I was hung over on Saturday, and it just went downhill from there. I did the AM yoga plus the balance ball stretch on Wednesday and the AM yoga yesterday. Nothing today yet and I’m not sure if I will be able to fit it in. Hope everyone else on the team is doing better than I am.



Today, Yesterday, and the day before

Today-Nada busy painting all day, now I have to get ready for work. Yesterday I have a good day, I took a walk in a slightly hilly area, then I cam home and did the AM Yoga and the Balance Ball stretch, the day before I just did the AM Yoga.



Dim the lights.....

I have been meaning to dim the lights when I do the AM Yoga. When I am doing the conscious relaxation bit, they seem to bother me even though my eyes are closed.
I did skip the conscious relaxation part today but I did dim the lights and did the laying down stuff with my eyes closed. I have to say I did like this and found it relaxing. It was nice because I know the moves so I didn’t have to keep turning to the TV.



Going strong

I did the AM yoga with Rodney Yee and the balance ball daily stretch both today and yesterday. I have to say the the conscious relaxation and the mediation doesn’t do much for me. In know it is a huge part of yoga but at this point in my life I don’t really, I don’t know how to say it. Maybe I can’t do it cause life is too hectic or it just doesn’t appeal to me right now. Not too sure so I have been kind of skipping that and doing some more stretches instead. One thing I do have to really work on is my breathing, I totally don’t follow along with that yet.
