Go to Israel

I found out a while back that the trip was canceled by the sponsoring organization. Don’t know when the next opportunity to go will be.

I sent in the paperwork with my check yesterday! My parents are loaning me the money and I’ll pay them back in a couple of months. This way I won’t wipe out my savings account. Woohoo!

An opportunity to go to Israel in January has presented itself. It’ll pretty much wipe out my savings, but it would be totally worth it. I still haven’t forgiven myself for passing up a chance at going to Egypt I had years ago. I have to think very hard on this, and also check with my department head to see if the university will give me credit for it, since it is a guided history tour.
