Drive or fly? Looked at both possibilities and decided on flying.

Researched when the new moon is each month from September – December. October is out because I am at a conference in Sacramento during the new moon. I am considering November because the new moon is the 16th, getting brighter until the first quarter moon on the 24th.

I was thinking if I went a couple of days towards the new moon …. what if I made it a Grand Holiday and had my Thanksgiving there? Being an orphan, that would be a really cool way to spend a holiday!

and the closet place is Alaska! Yippee! No passport needed. Very nice as I don’t have one. That means one less expense for the trip. Have you ever noticed that all the trips I want to take to faraway and fabulous places require money?
