find a best friend

Encanto mi nueva amiga en mi officina. I am going to go with her to Mexico to see the land by the mountains that she inherited, where she will retire and grow organic avocados. :)

I’ve just got to face the fact that I’m not a very social person by nature. That or I’m scared of people.

Talked to a nice girl at church this week. It will be great to find some more friends—essential when you’re new in a place. I will email her soon, before Sunday.

My sister-in-law has also become a great friend! I’m very happy about that—family is great.

One of my favorite things about friends is how they broaden your mind. They suggest things that you wouldn’t think of, and they expose you to new opportunities you wouldn’t have found otherwise. Having good friends makes you into a better person, plus it’s just fun.

Yeah, haven’t had one of these since gradeschool. So sad. I tend to not get along so well with other girls. My husband is a great best friend, but I would like a platonic one too! I think when I go back to college to get my economics degree, it will provide a great opportunity for this. Meanwhile, I need to keep my mind open and maybe talk to some other people once in awhile. O_o
