I’ve been trying to limit myself to…
—Only listening to Spanish Music (I like Rata Blanca :D)
—Reading all wikipedia web pages in Spanish (if there is a Spanish wikipedia page)
—Watching things in Spanish (not really possible with TV shows, but with DVD’s, easily done-although I still need English subtitles in all cases)
—Reading Spanish books (the 3 that we have…one of which is the Lord of The Rings, Fellowship of The Ring but I haven’t done more than been amazed at the first page. Of all these four goals this is the hardest to satisfy).
So far I’ve noticed a bit of an increase in my ability to speak smoothly without stopping to think about what word comes next (grammar is definitely going better), but my vocabulary is still somewhat dismal…reading will probably help that when I finally get a Spanish book at my reading level.
