I’ve been using Mike Brescia’s ThinkRightNow.com’s audio cds and software affirmation program for a few months now and I’ve been much more stable than I have been in a long time. I also use a “self esteem zapper” of Dick Sutphen’s that is helping. I also just learned another way of making powerful affirmations that seems to be working for me. You make the affirmation in the form of the question to force your brain into trying to seek an answer. An example of this would be, “Why is my self esteem so high now?” The brain will search for an answer and make you start feeling that it must be true even if it is not. Something else that is helping me is ChooseProsperity.com’s Prosperity Game and tut.com’s Notes from the Universe. If anyone else is having trouble with depression, I highly suggest these trying these things.

I have tried about every approach I could to overcomming and beating my depression (barring the most “traditional” methods mostly). For me it is a day-by-day thing. I just have to keep finding more reasons to get up every day and make that day worth it. Sometimes it is only my family or my daughter that does it for me. It is my goal to eventually find a career or a life-pursuit that will also get me out of bed and get going every day. Humor also helps me to deal with my low-level depression.
